Gimp & Adverts
« on: January 08, 2010, 02:34:43 PM »
So i'm having a little problem with ULX at the moment. Ulx Gimp doesn't change what the person says and the Adverts are not appearing in game. At first I thought it was a config problem but I am currently using the default config and it still won't work. I've also removed all of my Addons to see if any were conflicting and it still won't work.

So i'm not sure what could be causing this problem. I am using SVN versions of ULX and Ulib.

Edit: I've just re-installed my server completely and both features still won't work. Once again I am using a fresh copy of ULX/Ulib both without extra files/edits.

Edit: Using version 2.21 of Ulib and version 3.31 of ULX, it works fine. Adverts & Gimp both show. But these versions have some bugs.

SVN is beta and doesn't have gimp and adverts right now.

But these versions have some bugs.
Not a bug, just not yet a re-implimented feature after a major ULib re-write, requiring a major ULX re-write.
If you'd searched the SVN area for 'gimp', you would have found the exact same remarks in

Sorry to bump, but instead of making a whole new topic I will just ask here.
Any idea when the adverts and gimp will be back?

No idea besides that it's next on the list of things to be done.

And now it's done in rev 82. :)
