Not too bad, I made something kinda like this a few years ago, but defiantly not anything to this extent. Good job.

This reminds me of that Apple crap they added on iOS 10+, so annoying that they started doing this. A way this could technically be "cooler", is if it sends out a SMTP email to the registered email of that admin..

Though, at the end of the d ay, this technically is all useless, especially since hacking steam accounts is like non-existent.

To my understanding of how outside sourced audio works in gmod, is it loads it to the server first, then plays it for the client. I could be wrong, as I haven't looked too much into it, but I think I remember something like that happening to me every so often on certain songs. I can't remember though, so oh well.

When did this start?

Are you getting errors in server console at server start up?

What gamemode are you running (Sandbox, DarkRP, JailBreak, ...)?

Quand at-il commencé?

Est-ce que vous obtenez des erreurs dans la console du serveur au démarrage du serveur?

Que gamemode-vous en cours d'exécution (Sandbox, DarkRP, JailBreak, ...)?

Do you vote for the traitor or the clown?

Personally, as a civil servant, I can't possibly vote for someone so negligent (and, from the facts of the matter, criminal). Doesn't mean I'm happy about anyone else on the ballot though.

Personally, I'd rather have Ronald McDonald's as President, The Hamburglar as Vice President, and that scary, dull giant purple Grimace as Department of Defense Secretary.

Post Edit:
Actually, in my free time I made this

I don't read, sorry. Though, if he still is Superadmin, it doesn't mean he removed rcon access. So technically he could do
Code: [Select]
ulx rcon ulx groupallow superadmin "ulx groupallow"

^ That (the above) is a bad way of doing it. That's how you end up breaking crap, if you don't know what you're doing. Assuming this is a new user, the best and easiest option is to go to console and type:
Code: [Select]
ulx groupallow superadmin "ulx groupallow"
so basically, the code for adding permissions to any group is:
Code: [Select]
ulx groupallow <GROUP> "<PERMISSION>"

From ulx/lua/ulx/log.lua:

Code: Lua
  1. local logSpawnsEcho             = ulx.convar( "logSpawnsEcho", "1", "Echo spawns to players in server. -1 = Off, 0 = Console only, 1 = Admins only, 2 = All players. (Echoes to console)", ULib.ACCESS_SUPERADMIN )
  2. ...
  3. local spawnechoAccess = "ulx spawnecho"
  4. ULib.ucl.registerAccess( spawnechoAccess, ULib.ACCESS_ADMIN, "Ability to see spawn echoes and steamids from joined players in console", "Other" ) -- Give admins access to see spawn echoes by default

I agree with Apple that you can give ulx spawnecho to groups/users in order to allow them to see these prop spawn messages, provided logSpawnsEcho is set to 1.

Searching through the Garry's Mod files, no instances of 'spawned model' were found so I highly doubt there is a vanilla feature similar to this.

I just took a guess, I remember messing around with spawnecho a few years ago. Most of the documentation for xgui is utter crap, and some of the stuff just has nothing listed. For example:

This question makes me cringe, but either way I believe it's either this, "ulx spawnecho" permission which can be found in "Groups" tab, under "OTHER" section for permissions. Though, I'm thinking that it might be a default Garry's Mod feature for players who met the "IsPlayerAdmin()" criteria.

there was a lot of writing after I said what I said, so I skimmed most of it. I'm just going to say that I BELIEVE there is a ulib command called "ulx_allowuser". If you type it in console, I think it uses steamid, etc. Allowuser is a little more complicated, and hard to keep track of since it doesn't prove anything.

I'm unaware of the current majority country of this community, just assuming United States. Feel free to apply to this, even if this does not apply to you.

So, to make a long story short, what are your guys' stand point on a candidate? Any idea who you're leaning towards, or idea which candidate is most qualified (lol) to realistically be President.

The real question is why do you have groups with steam ids.

I'm not arguing, I was just stating my opinion. I put no research into what I said, so it could not be more of an opinion if I wanted it to be. I could be completely wrong, and unix could still be used for everything (doubtful imo).

As for going before dates of 1970, if I remember, unix can go negative on some systems. Natively is it supposed to go negative, I have no clue.

Unix is considered the beginning of time for computer clock. Unix itself is not entirely used that much, since a lot of things digital now.
