JamminR's Cave
« on: August 26, 2007, 04:29:55 PM »
I've finally got pictures taken of my cave.
Normally much more cluttered, but as you all know, the cave is for sale as part of the house.
And for some reason, no one wants to buy a messy house, even if the clutter is moving with me.
Ah well.
Photographer used a wide angle lense...door pictured isn't as wide as that looks.

My main desk/pc in the corner. My laptop docking station to my left, main monitor in front.

Different angle

From behind where I sit, looking right

These pictures are straight from a realtor's site. So hopefully, if they stop working, it means we've sold.

Mmmm. Brownies.
As for in those cupboards...no, just a washer and dryer in one closet, and water heater/computer parts in the one behind me.

Definitally not what I pictured when I heard you describe it in the past.

Also, maybe it's the wide angle lense, but that looks bigger than my dorm room. (I'll have to post pictures some time, but mom took the camera home with her.)

Megiddo has this kinda thing called Gallinatra, which basically means he's attracted to chickens in a very.. affectionate way.

He doesn't like to talk about it.  :-\

I don't know what I've (attempted to) explain(ed) in the past.
This is the clean MUCH decluttered version of my normal cave.
Much brighter too. Usually just have a desk lamp, lava lamp, and shade drawn (day or night)
In front of the combo lava/torch lamp, there used to be a printer stand with 2 computer towers on top, in between the desks.
On the shelves of the printer stand below the two computers were various cdrom drives, old HDs, miscellaneous junk.

There was a hutch where the big CRT is now. The desk was covered in junk (most of which I threw away (notepads with game cheats from 6 years ago, junk stuff)
The CRT/docking station was to the right of, my then off center, LCD.

The Mac desk used to have another CRT with another computer hooked below it.

I really miss my web server. It was one of the two boxes on the printer stand. I'm thinking of grabbing it out of it's hiding spot and placing it behind the corner of my desk.

Size wise, I guess its about twice a single dorm room, maybe 1.5x.
I just looked at our listing. There is no #x# measurement for the room. Odd. Guess because the stair base, washer/dryer closet and water heater/pc part closet make it uneven. Listing does say lower level is 296sq feet.

I told my wife Megiddo was enjoying college life.

I didn't mention, but start to wonder if now maybe a bit too much.
Remember Meg, more than 1 year as a freshman isn't a good thing.
