First off I would like to say that I update ULX on my server 2 or 3 times a week and I grunt through all the redoing user files for new formats.. which I LOVE THE NEW FORMAT.. thanks soo much.. finally fixed the problem I was having with it saving weird in notepad =)

So if I'm reporting things all the time, it's simply because I want to help with the beta testing phase and make ULX better.. anyways..

here is my problem

Admins with the ulx physgunplayer access can not move players with their physgun. Worked fine until I installed the latest rev. of the SVN. Did you remove that? or maybe it's broken?

It's not a red alert kind of bug.. just something I noticed =)

Sorry, remove groups.txt and see if you're still having the problem after a map change.

I deleted groups.txt and misc?registered.txt and let the server rebuild them from scratch.

However, I still could not grab a player with the physgun. Like I said, it worked until I updated ULX.. I havn't added anything else. Is it possible that (assuming I am the only one having this problem) somethign you added to ULX or changed is NOW interfering with another addon? something that didn't interfere before?

It's possible but extremely unlikely. Use "ulx debuginfo" in your server console while you're connected and give us the output.

It looks like you modified some of your files and it's throwing ULX/ULib off. Try removing all that you have, including groups.txt and misc_registered.txt from garrysmod/data/ULib (can keep users.txt though). Then, do a full re-checkout. This should fix your problems.

Let us know how it goes! If you don't monkey with the files in the addons folder this situation should never come up again.

Is that really all the output debuginfo gave you? It's supposed to do more than just that.

I tried removing the groups and the misc_registered.txt files and it didn't fix my issue.. =(

I said remove everything including those files and recheckout. This means clear out garrysmod/data/ULib and addons/ulx and addons/ulib.

Nothing.. Like I said.. everything else up until rev. 82 with the user related commands (see my other post) works fine.. We dont need to be able to physgun players.. i dont know why it isnt working though =(
