New server help

I just bought a server and added ulx and ulib .... i am using smartftp   and when i type this into the console
ulx adduser lolololz superadmin group1 it says I dont have access to this command

what do i do??

You missed the important step that it has to be SERVER console, not the game console, when using adduser for the first time. (also, remove 'group')
Rcon would work, but since you have ftp access, please follow

(I'm thinking step 2 would be the easiest way... we mention that in our readme file also, which is step 1)

assuming you know the password to your RCON for your server.. if not.. you really should... contact your server administrator (people you bought the server from) and ask them

do the following steps in YOUR GAME CONSOLE

rcon_password <password>  *where <password> = your RCON password for your server
rcon ulx adduser lolololz superadmin

That person is now added... and you should get a message from ULX confirming that.


Editing the default user.txt file is a way too.. but personally I think the RCon way is easier.
