I know this is not advised.. but if you are smart, you can pull it off..

Go into Garrysmod/Data/ULib and open up users.txt
Make sure that you arent in there more than once.. if you are delete the duplicate entries.
Also.. under the groups table for you in the users.txt file.. it looks like you are in user and superadmin group.. delete the line that puts you in user group so that you are just in the superadmin group. You should see what Im talking about if this is the case.



If that doesnt work.. try deleting your users.txt file completely and let ULX rebuild. If you do this, once you are in game just use RCON or the console itself (if you have access) to add yourself to the superadmin group (ulx adduser <name> superadmin)



My thought is that it seems as though you've corrupted your user file somehow.. =(

The debug information all looks good to me, I don't know why it wouldn't be pulling your info. Spbogie is usually better at spotting these things than I am though...

If you have followed all the instructions we've given you and it still does not work, then either you installed ULX wrong... or you didn't fix it correctly/Provide us with good enough information to allow us to provide you with a solution that works.

ULX works for many many people, and 99% of EVERY SINGLE server will run mods and addons the exact same way... unless you have something else installed that conflicts with it.

There is nothing that needs to be/can be done on Team Ulysses' end to fix your problem. Sorry if you can't get it working.. I suggest completely reinstalling.

Delete addons/ULX
Delete addons/ULib
Delete Data/ULib

After you've completely deleted all your ULX files.. reinstall the addon from scratch and follow every instruction in doing so.

If after you have done this, you find that you are still getting the same error.. you either have a bad version of ULX... download the new version or.. you have a conflicting Addon.. in which case your life gets even more hellish...

If this is the case.. then you need to delete EVERY addon you have.. I suggest making a backup of them so you dont have to download them all again.

Install ULX with no other addons.. see if it works..

If it does.. then start adding your other addons 2 or 3 at a time.. and see if everything works.

Once you find the addon that causes ULX to break.. then you can provide ULX AND the other addon with information that is useful to creating some sort of work around to let the 2 addons work together.



Sorry if this appears frustrated.. but I'm not even a part of this team, but I get annoyed when people moan and groan that ULX doesn't work and expect fixes when it DOES work.. you just have not worked it correctly.

I want to help you and Im sure everyone else here does too, but you need to be a little more self helping and try to get us information that we can actually use to help you remedy your situation.

When starting from scratch, make sure you don't have older versions of ULX either. Some 'server packs' I've seen include much older versions of ULX and ULib.
Look for gmod/lua/ulx and gmod/lua/ULib. Delete those if you have them when re-installing also.
