Though I've not tried the game, theres a multiplayer Source HL full conversion mod called 'The Hidden' I need to install sometime.

Perhaps a 'hidden-gmod' could be developed. :)

It's been done, for the most part already. But yeah, its pretty similar to the hidden with its shimmer effect

DOH. You're right.
I keep forgetting about Hide-n-seek gamemode.
I'm a builder mostly, so don't play much of the gamemodes.
Most are fun though.

There was one that was pretty much the real thing, but it got flamed by Hidden fanatics for copying the game and got DDTd
