It's not the apocalypse! We went down sometime Sunday evening, our host, biggameserver.com claims it was a carrier failure. Waited until Monday afternoon... carrier still wasn't back. I then requested our host move us to the network that
was working. Unfortunately, my host doesn't know jack about linux servers and forgot to specify the new IP in sendmail so sendmail was crashing on boot in the new network. I requested that the host simply issue us a new, fresh install and leave us with the hard drive for a few days. Well, that's the current status. The host still hasn't gotten his rear in gear and fixed this. We're now hosted off dreamhost because it's dirt cheap (<$6/mo) and comes with some nice perks.
We'll let you know if we get our old server back. Dreamhost will remain for our webhost, however.
While restoring the forums, I had to restore a 2 day old backup because the most recent one was corrupt. Sorry 'bout that. Figured you guys would rather have the forums now then whenever my host fixed the server so I could grab the latest forums DB. Also we're looking for our current release .zips because no one on the dev team has 'em apparently. Preferably from an older forum member who can trust not to inject our code with stuff.
