Joining the Army
« on: June 11, 2008, 11:54:02 PM »
That's right. I'll be taking my intellectual skillage to the military, doing Image Analyzing. It sounds boring, but looks really cool.

I'll be leaving for basic on the 24th and my commitment is 5 1/2 years including training. However, I don't see myself finishing then, I'll probably want to keep going.

Unfortunately, that means I will be MUCH MUCH MUCH less frequent on this website and this side of the internet all-together.

I've put measures in place to keep my community running off of our donations while I am gone, but I just simply cant tell at this point what kind of time I'll have.

It was very nice to work with you guys, I very much enjoyed helping out where I could and appreciate all the help I got from you guys too. This is where I learned lua and I attribute most/all of my sucess in gmod lua to ULX and this community.

Good luck with everything you do, hope to stop in every now and then =)

p.s. I'll still be around until the 24th at least.

It's too soon to tell. My BT will take place in Jackson SC, and my Job Training will take place in Huachucha, Arizona.

Image analyzing? Everyone on the G4P forums is saying stuff like "don't get blown up!" and "don't get shot!". Funny how you left that little detail out over there.

Hey, just cause he's analyzing images doesn't mean he's safe... especially if its next to a runway in (any war country) which camera planes have just landed, and delivered him the images.

So, I'll say it here... don't get blown up!
:P

Just finished Basic Training. Sitting at the USO at the Airport (There was a layover for my next flight to Arizona.)

12 Weeks of living , but Im a better person from it I think.

I dont know how much chance I'll have to be online when I get to my AIT school for the next 23 weeks. Just thought I'd drop in and say hey.

Keep up all the great stuff and I'll be back in action as soon as I get the chance.! =)
