Overriding Map Spawn

Good evening ladies and gentlemen!  Once again I have brought a question.  Say I wanted to set the server spawnpoint (overriding the map spawn) with some command or stool.  What could I do?  I know it can be done as an RP server I have previously played on had an admin settable spawn.

Otherwise, I've not ever looked into it.

It doesn't really help as almost everything on there has to do with personal spawnpoints.  I am talking server wide.
