This is just a random idea, I don't care if you use it or not.

Make a tool that can help make restricting props easier.
Like you select the group and prop/sent/vehicle/ragdoll then click on the prop/sent/vehicle/ragdoll and it will restrict it for you.

     - I have actually been thinking of a way to make that easier. Your idea is a possibility.
