- SVN ULX
- A *NIX based web server (WINDOWS BASED WILL *NOT* WORK) with Python installed
- - You will also need to have CGI capability, if you don't know, contact your host

- Shell access to your web server

What is this?!
This is a fun little script, for the lulz. Y'know?

Why do I have to upload something to a website?
Because GMod doesn't have a way to execute things and return the output into Lua. Also, since 95% of GMod servers are on Windows, they also lack fortune anyway.

Why can't I use YOUR webserver, huh?
Because my webserver doesn't have the firepower to cater to a half-ton of servers, even for something as minor as this. And if one of the major communities are using my site, say hello to everyone's end bombing out!

What free webhosts can I upload this to and have it work on?
Far as I'm aware, none. Feel free to correct me if you've got one.

Can I host the CGI script for the public?
Sure, be my guest.

Wow. Just... wow. Being a PC geek and all around code scripting generalist, I understand everything this does; but there's one drawback. 99% of ULX users won't know how to use it.
Great work for the laughs, I'd love to see a way to get 5% more of the ULX "I clicked this and now it's installed" crowd to be able to have fun quotes.

* JamminR stands back and waits for the users who don't know how to edit settings/users.txt to start asking how to use it.

If it uses more than 8 TB of bandwidth a month, there might be a problem... but until then I think the server can handle it.

Ooh! Coolio! I'll update the download soon as I can figure out where my working copy went. I also doubt you'll hit 8 TB of bandwidth a month unless some minges figure out how to spam it 10 times a minute on, I don't know, 1,000 servers?
