sv_cheats notification disabler/enabler......
« on: September 27, 2006, 01:32:59 AM »
when an admin changes sv_cheats on or off theres a notification that comes up in the chat portion of the screen that will say sv_cheats 1 or sv_cheats 0.so my idea is so the admin will have the option of allowing the notificaion or not allowing it.so that if they choose the option to not allow the notification then the notification in the chat portion of the window wont show up.that way an admin can change the status of sv_cheats without having a bunch of people seeing that its on and start console hacking.also the admin can have the option of allowing or not allowing notifications on some of the other commands that have a notification such as noclip.

Though not easy, it's much easier to just make a .cfg of commonly used binds, put the binds in there and as a prefix and suffix use sv_cheats on and off, that way people will see the message but it's too quick for them to do anything, most admins do this.
