Bans not working/Reseting

Well I have noticed something strange with my ULX bans.I ban few people permanently on a day and those bans tend to stay for a short while until they dissapear completely from the list....(bans.txt) and then get those minges that were permanently banned returning to the server and can only see the bans made today in the bans.txt list which dissapear the next day...How can I fix this?

When Megiddo says ban file, he could mean both ULX's (ULib actually) ban file, and the standard server one.
Make sure your gmod/cfg/banned_<*>.cfg and gmod/data/ULib/bans.txt aren't read only.

Well it's not read only but I think after the new SVN update its working now but then I encoutared another problem.The ulx ban does not work through server console anymmore.I type in the exact name but nothing happens no ban is made.

Well aparently it was the hosts problem,very rare problem they had with all servers commands not working through console.But now they fixed it and everything is working with ULX.Hurray for ULX  :P I can keep on butt kicking the minges off the server.Sorry for the hassle and thanks for your time Megiddo & Jamminr :)
