Global Chat
« on: December 12, 2009, 03:18:06 AM »
Hey,

I was wondering if anyone had a good working solution for interserver chat(using ulx?).
The solutions i found on facepunch where either not working anymore(could be me, but I did what I was told to do) or they didn't do what I expected them to do (just a standard immediate global chat).

ULX has none, and no release currently exists here.

Just poking around for about 10-15 minutes, P2P Chat looked promising.

It does include a dll of gm_luasockets, which I thought Gmod already had (and don't have time at this second to verify)
Be cautious with dlls of course.

You may have already seen it, but didn't indicate which ones you've tried/seen.

Thnx for the reply. I already  tried this one and it didn't seeem to do the trck. But I think I have found what blocked it from working. I'll lett you know in this topic. The other ones i've seen where Gcommunicate and Global chat, but the first one needs to refresh from the database constantly and the second didn't work at all. But I see something in Gcommunicate to maybe build it in to my site as a small admin feature.
