Ulx/Ulib help

Ive installed the add on on the server and fast synced it. almost all commands works fine, !menu wont work either will "ulx menu"
!motd wont work either will "ulx motd" ive got no visual.
ive also got the "Lua cache couldten be downloaded. Server is misconfigured"

But if i also install ulx/ulib to my own client. the visuals work. its start the menu with XGUI searching for confirmation from server and then it say it not possible at the moment and starting in offline mode.. so the settings and cvar cant be used only the menu which access fun and the other tabs. Help

Ive tryed to reinstall the server and do it all over again this time im missing the group section in ULX menu
but the problems still apear

I have gotten that error before, this error usually happens when your cache files are not synced properly with fast DL. Make sure that you run the server at-least once without fast DL, to create the cache files then upload those files to your fast DL server.

That should fix that error, and will probably fix some other things as well.

Also you may wanna read the following post by JamminR.

Basically, make sure you have latest SVN version, installed properly on the server, of both ULX and ULib.
Make sure you don't have old copies installed elsewhere on your server.
Make sure your server is sending files to the client.
Make sure your client is downloading, and running the proper files.

Hellfox is right. The symptoms you are getting plus the error message means that the client did not download the LUA cache from your fastdownload server. If you choose to run a fastdownload server you still need to host the luacache files.

However you don't need to run it with fastdl off at all. You just need to simply run the server and then upload the cache file into the fastdownload directory. You don't even need to restart the server.

every time you change ANYTHING in the lua if it is clientside at ALL it will generate a new lua cache file.. just keep that in mind.
