SQL support for user groups?
« on: January 05, 2012, 11:58:39 AM »
Does ULX have SQL support for usergroups like exsto?

I believe I once saw something like it, but I cant find it.

This would be very useful. I'm wondering whether to make a donation script in PHP or Lua so I need to know ;)

* JamminR gives an evil eye look at strategos... "hmm..didn't look too hard?"
* JamminR decides to be helpful anyway, using advanced, searches for "SQL" in releases. Hmm. No group access.
* JamminR uses advanced search, in titles, for SQL in developers corner. AH HA!

Not directly, no.
However, the developer section here has had many discussions and helpful tips, including, one particular helpful discussion.

Good baseline. Perhaps old ulx code, uses old sql library (that apparently still works).
Some fans on FP like another library better, BUT..it's the closest thing we have that worked at time of release.

EDIT - Oh, also, don't expect much 'tested' support from the author. He's currently without Gmod.
I'm slowly but surely working on remedying that, but, pretty sure he still wouldn't have SQL avail to him.
