 I hope you are still checking this thread.
Yes, I would suggest, for now, trying to run the vmfcopygun out of /ulib/modules.
If you do/have, let us know if it works.
Any other information you might have to help us figure out a true cure instead of a workaround would be nice too, if you have any.
A user by the nickname of avastyee has posted the same issue on FacePunch in the ULX thread.

Hey guys sorry, but the server I had GMOD running on had a kernel upgrade go awry and since I didn't have direct access to the machine I had to wait for my friend (who hosts the server) get back in town and let me repair the problem (stupid cpioinit script).

Anyway, I just got it back up and running and will now have a chance to play with it a bit more.

Thanks for your interest you guys rock and expect more posts from me soon.
