ULX 3.0 commands: Do you prefer "_" or " "? ("ulx_kick", "ulx kick")

(1/2) > >>

Megiddo:
In the ULX commands, do you prefer the space separator " " or the underscore "_"? It's the difference between "ulx_kick" and "ulx kick".

Thanks for your input!

Please tell us if you have any suggestions for ULX 3.0. We're as excited about the new ULX and what can be done in GM10 as you are!

JamminR:
Personally, I prefer using spaces.
"ulx <command>"
Personal preference ... I like it.
Technical preference ... it's quicker to hit the spacebar with my thumb, than Pinky shift and pinky underscore.

Also, one suggestion.. using "ulx help" in the console fills up much of it. Often, I remember a command beginning at the first of the alphabet, but I have to scroll back to see it for its parameters.
Being able to get the individual command help that is printed by each command when full list is seen, by typing "ulx help <command>" would be wonderful.
I'd suggest "ulx help <command>" over "ulx <command> help". I could see wanting to perform a command on someone with 'help' in thier nickname.
Perhaps also have the help line for the command printed if parameters passed to it aren't correct.
The generic 'not enough info' message printed now doesn't really help much.

I've used AMX/AMXX for Counter-Strike 1.6 for a while and have gotten used to the _ in between the commands. However, I'm starting to like the space in ULX because it's one less keystroke I have to do compared to SHIFT + - for an underscore.

Golden-Death:
I myself prefer "".

ban
kick
team

But of course that's not very practical... Oh well.

Perhaps if I ever get around to learning the new lua system I could make a better help system.
 Testing, testing.

Stickly Man!:
Well, i like the _ because I'm used to it... I used AMXX for a loong time, so whenever i do a command, i have to retype it after realizing that i had a _ there...

But, if you can, cant you just make it so both commands work?
