Ban List
« on: April 08, 2013, 11:58:45 AM »
Hello.

First of, my name is sabo (not real name lol) and I administrate a Server which is running ULX.

Now, if I want to see the ban list I just type !menu -> go to bans -> and have all bans displayed which still are running
Or I go on the ControlPanel and open the bans.txt file.

The sad thing about this is that the bans which ran out (got unbanned) will be deleted.

I basically want to keep track of every ban ever made on the Server and display it on our Webserver (Forums).

Is there a way to make that?

With best regards
-sabo

Not without switching to an SQL based ban system. Do a search, there are a few floating around right now. I've posted mine somewhere which works. www.g4p.org/bans.php

My system doesn't work with temporary bans though, only permanent bans.

Hello.

Does ULX store the bans only in the bans.txt or is there a database?!

And where should I search for a SQL based ban system? On this Forum or just on the Internet? :O

Default ULib only stores in bans.txt

You write it yourself, or you use one the myriad MySQL ban systems on these forums (the search bar is at the top).
