Anybody good with C++ & Visual Basic?

So, I'm looking for someone that has some expertise in C++ or Visual Basic. I asked JamminR for help, but he said I'd have more luck posting in this forum. So I am. I just need someone to kind of guide me through, what I'm trying to do. I really don't have any skill with C++. I'm really desperate to learn and all the C++ and Visual Basic forums I've been to have been completely no help what so ever. So if you could help me, it'd be really appreciated.

I certainly know my way around VBasic. I have Visual Studio 2010. If you tell me what you are trying to do I would be happy to assist if I can.
