I had the idea, because many cool weapons on my server,
are too powerful to be allowed for users or even respected.

If there was a timed limit, people could use powerful guns once in a while, without spamming them ;/
That would also make the weapons more valuable by players!

Is there maybe already something similar?
 And would the timers for all people, especially with many timed weapons lag the server?

There is nothing like this as far as I know, and this is not likely something you'll see in a future release of ULX. Someone might do a module or small addon though.

While timers are not the cheapest thing in terms of computations on the server, even 1 timer for each player on a populated server wouldn't show any significant performance decrease.

Umm, yeah I meant to suggest a plugin, not a basic feature for ULX.
Am I in the wrong section?

Not necessarily in the wrong section, but most folks posting in 'suggestions' expect features within ULX by default.
As you might guess, we're pretty selective.

You might make a plugin request in 'general help and support', or if you're teaching yourself lua and want help, perhaps developers corner.
