A good way to find out if people are actually using your script.

What would be a could way to tell if people are actually using your script? I was thinking of sending some data to my website so I could simply track the stats of what servers and how many servers are using my scripts. But is there a better way?

Nope, that's the best way. Just make sure you're clear about what data you're collecting and sending.

And of course, make sure it doesn't totally freak out if it can't reach your site for any reason.
