I managed to move myself out of the superadmin group I now can't put myself back, how do I do it outside the ULX GUI? like in the files of the server? Urgent help needed, thanks in advance -instinct

Use RCon:

ulx adduser username superadmin

ehm...what's RCon... when I type RCon into the server console it says "socket connection failed (WSAEADDNOTAVAIL) Unable to connect to remote server (0.0.0.0:0)

Do you have access to the physical server console?
Are you running the server yourself or is it being hosted for you?


If all else fails, just open garrysmod/settings/users.txt and add your steamid and name to that list.

The server console is RCon.

If you don't understand how after reading our FAQs, you should probably find some 'how to admin a Gmod server' guides before running one, even without ULX.
Your server hosting experience will be less frustrating if you learn how to admin a server before relying on a mod (like ULX) to help with it.
