invalid sample rate (32000)
« on: January 03, 2014, 06:41:16 PM »
I keep getting this error everytime I try to play my sound file, so what I did was edit it with Audacity.

I changed it to 44100Hz and MP3 quality (when exported) to 192kb bitrate, still get the error.

So, i tried a different track and then I got a different error saying something like "invalid sound file."

Not really sure what's going on here.

Keep in mind, these are actual songs, not just sound clips.

Did you change the actual rate in audacity, or just the project rate?

As far as I know, I've only done these settings.

1.  Bottom left

2. Preferences

3. Preferences - Quality

Try just changing the project rate to 44100, then export as an mp3.

I changed the file name to not have spaces in it, replaced them with underscores.

Now it magically works apparently.  Also had to move my workshop.lua out of the gamemode because apparently the server won't recognize the lua's per gamemode (was hoping to swap between gamemodes with different workshop.luas because why would you need a lightsaber for TTT or something, no sense downloading it if it's not currently active).  So I moved that workshop.lua back to the lua folder.

Seems to be working.
