Hey Guys,
We made a custom TTT module for our Server and I wanted to share it with you. Maybe someone did sth like this before than ignore it xD I don't know where to post it so i just post it here.
The idea is that in TTT you often have the situation that you do a Teamkill by accident. The fun of that mode are the missunderstandings, so why should we punish sth which is intended to happen? I think everybody knows the situation that someone shoots at you and you kill him in self defense or you kill someone who killed another person before. So I made awarn log the teamdamage and kills someoone has made so you won't get a autowarn for stopping that person. Also I made awarn give warns for innocent killing detective and a chatprint which tells you what the players role was who killed you (but not his name in case you get revived)

Is there a way of mounting Awarn onto SQL?

The server I am Senior Admin on has removed the module due to the lag it is causing with 60 players. Per connecting, a lag spike is caused due to having to hook into finding the player information which is causing major issues.

This also has no relation to our server hardware, as we're running on a dedicated server.

AWarn2 already uses SQL.
Not MySQL, but SQLite which is built into garrys mod.

If you are experiencing lag, it may be due to an overly large database file or maybe a corrupt file.

is there a way to identify a corrupted file or to downscale the file?

Not really, no. Not without deleting the sv.db file and letting the server rebuild it from scratch, but you would lose all of the data stored in it.
Lots of things could be using it, not just Awarn.

!warn menu is not coming up? I enabled everything in the AWarn tab on ULX permission wise to all staff groups + did ulx groupallow (staff rank here) "awarn_admin"

any suggestions?

Any errors when the server starts or when you try and do !warn?
Does anything print in console at all?

Do you have another addon such as ULX extended which adds its own !warn command? They could be conflicting.

Free version is available again. With a slight catch:

1. Please do not advertise the free version off of this website. I want you guys to have access to my work without having to pay for it, but when people just get on and tell everyone to just come here and download it for free, I am inclined to just not offer a free version.
2. The free version has a couple newer features omitted. Nothing that makes the addon any less useful.
3. There is an advert that pops up in chat every 30 minutes that just says "This server is running AWarn2 by Mr.President". (please do not remove this)

Also, I lumped in the last 6 months of updates into the free version too! Make sure you update if you were running a previous version. Thanks!

Are versions 2.10 and up only available on ScriptFodder?

Also, I collect just the server name and IP, map and gamemode of your server. Nothing that isn't sent to the master server browser or that is collected by external sources such as gametracker.com. It's for my own personal tracker so I can see who runs the script on what gamemodes. I didn't feel it was an invasion of privacy so I didn't feel I needed to disclose it.

Fair enough. Also, thanks for upping the limit for the decay time. I went in yesterday to change it manually but then I realized you had increased it in an update already.
