Dripfed, the problem with doing that is, the sticky is aimed at having people use the default settings/users.txt file. Editing our custom one is slightly more difficult.

There's no reason to have the users in both text files, ULib overrides the GMod authentication system, so if you have access in ULib, you should have access in all other scripts that use the GMod authentication too.

Did find some problems with this though after a clean reinstall of the gmod platform to sort out its random crashes.

We didn't have a gmod users.txt after the reinstall, I didn't know this because my other superadmin had forgotten to reinstall it, and I couldn't work out why I could not get access to Chausettes prop protection and spam protection since I had gmod access to clean up etc as a superadmin.

Turns out that Chausette's plugin required us to have a gmod users.txt even though ULib is doing it's own thing with its own data/Ulib/users.txt

It was all rather confusing when I realised that the settings/users.txt was missing, yet knew I could do all my superadmin things...Seems it was the game using the Ulib users.txt.

Chaussette's prop & spam protection is a problem with ULib UCL. The problem comes from it checking for admin client side, which ULib UCL doesn't currently handle. If using Chaussette's addons, or any other that need to get admins client side, you need to add your users in Garry's list (at least for now), and if using a custom ULib UCL users file disable importing from default users file.
