!% Means "Everyone Below"

so if it's * it's everyone
if it's !%superadmin it's everyone below superadmin
if it's !%admin it's everyone below admin
and so on so forth..

If you want to restrict a guy, set him to user.

I know about that, but I'm asking how to restrict a certain player and not an entire rank, he's a donator. Can't set a donator to user. That's a chargeback waiting to happen.

If you're not going to remove donator group access from them (a PRIVILEGE imo, not a RIGHT), then you'll need to deny him the specific commands from him that you don't want him to use.
I'm sorry, but I don't know how to tell you to do this in XGUI (It's probably easy, I just haven't loaded Gmod in a while to look)

Quote from: ULX Usermanagementhelp
o ulx userdeny <player> <command> [<remove explicit allow or deny instead of outright denying: 0/1>] - Remove from a user's access.

So it would be
ulx userdeny "Your players name" "ulx command1_you_dont_want_him_using"
ulx userdeny "Your players name" "ulx command2_you_dont_want_him_using"

If you later want to grant the command, you add a 1 on the end using same command.
ulx userdeny "Your players name" "ulx command2_you_dont_want_him_using" 1

just my 2 cents..

if you have a person(s) who have patterns of misconduct on your server you can always set a group specifically for them. with its own chat tag etc.

I like giving examples so here's one

you could call the group penalty, and the chat tag can be Dunce in some ugly color, and remove their user privileges such as votemap, vote, asay, and any other permissions you have granted to "user" leaving penalty with 0 access rights, its how I like to deal with trouble makers this works great with other Ulysses Teams great addons like auto promote (you can set a penalty time) and so forth.

just a little idea I thought I would share with everyone.
