Models Too Big For Hitboxes

So, I have this problem...
I have models that are big. Too big for the TTT hitboxes. You have to shoot somewhere in the middle of the model to actually get a hit.
Is there a fix?

Unless I'm mistaken, the hitboxes are a part of the models compiling process. Something to do with the bones. Some player models were never intended for use in a game that utilizes hitboxes.
