Admins can target head admins
« on: January 29, 2015, 02:14:41 PM »
for some reason on my server admins can target anyone, even though I have set the target so that they can target all the ranks below them, but they can still target everyone

your targeting may be correct but your inheritance might not. Ensure your hierarchy is correct.

If you're so new to server hosting that you don't know the difference between server console (dedicated/srcds.exe), game console (Steam Gmod/GUI client), or listen server (Gmod GUI/game console is BOTH server/client), then you had probably do a bit more homework/self-education about running a game server before running one.

I knew the difference,  I just didnt read his response clearly, I saw console and tried it. Also I wanted to make sure that the srcds is the right place to put the command.

You've got a forked inheritance tree, the likes of which are not fond of working with ULib inheritance. If you really want to go that route, there's a specific can_target syntax you have to follow.
