What does karma and the rank you have one the website mean and how do you get karma and a rank higher that newbie?

The "rank" you're talking is based upon how many posts you have, though it's more of a title than a rank

If you look under people's profile pictures on their posts you'll see two links: Complain and Compliment
Compliment gives +1 to the user's karma and complain takes 1
It's pretty much reputation system

The only time title matters here is when we grant access to someone as a forum moderator or if one is invited/joins our development team.
Though we do not, some forum communities use it to base certain restrictions on (posting/downloading/etc).
We think it would only invite useless posts by someone wanting to reach a certain title though.

I just like having Hero members, because there really aren't that many people whom post on these forums anymore. So I, and along with others are of like an elite standpoint on the forums, though I don't make that many posts anymore since I've quit Garry's Mod, I'm pulling an Aaron.

Out of curiosity, ULX/Ulib works across all GMOD games correct?

And I plan on getting Hero sooner or later. The more I learn this, the more I can tweak my servers to fit my needs.

okay lol, the only issue you may have is conflicting addons or bad data folder permission.  Otherwise ULX and ULIB should theoretically work on any gmod.

As what Aaron was saying, it works for all gamemodes, but the only tiny issue you may run into is FAdmin if you are running a DarkRP server. It's recommend you disable or remove FAdmin on darkrp for ulx to fully operate.

@Bite the Apple does an RP server automatically come with FAdmin installed or is this an addon that gets implanted by the owner?

FAdmin is installed by default into any DarkRP Master zip. So if you download a copy from the github, it'll come stock with FAdmin.
