Sorry if there is already some type of explanation out there, but I was wondering what is the point of operator? The only thing they seem to have that the user group doesn't is seeasay.

As Gmod really only knew superadmin, admin and user, it was our (and originally, AMXs' and other admin systems across many mainframe/VMX platforms) way to show something more than normal but wasn't admin.
It's an example custom group higher than user.
