Allright. Now im not really experted in this; but for simplicity sake; I think the case is closed and that il update ulx; seems to have a new version and it should be fixed right? If not il just edit this! :) thanks for the help. Btw if this is not what im suposta do a instructions.txt could give a hand xD

Yes. I tested it even with DarkRP, with all addons. It is solved. I added a few bans; works very nicely

Could it be that file.Read tries to convert line endings and doesn't always succeed?

Could be just about anything.
Trick is .. what?
I suspect a dodgy lua file somewhere, another mod most likely, doing it's own thing.
Meh, either way, thanks for the help in finding a fix, another mod or ours.

Just happened to my server too i was going to do a new post than i saw this since its rare i will have a backup of my current ulx / ulib files before uptading them and i will send it to you guys so u can investigate it if necessary

[if you guys would like the backups of the current version please contact via steam]

[GODR] g_o_r_k_e_m, please start a new thread in the help and support section of our forums.
Though your issue may be similar, this thread is 5+ years old, and many, many, MANY Gmod, Ulib, and ULX version updates have occurred since.
The root cause of your issue is likely not to be the same.

the problem is its the exact same problem and its an old version of ulx / ulib im uptading them currently

quick question > i forgat where bans where saved

We no longer support versions of ULib/ULX from 5 years ago.
Why are you running a version that old?
gmod/data/ulib/ and gmod/data/ulx
