Extremely useful mic management
« on: March 28, 2016, 06:25:49 PM »
Hey, Simple request. Lets add a feature that makes it so that only one person can use the voice chat function at a time. Or better yet, let the server owner choose how many mics a time, 1 - 10 kind of thing. And it could prioritize who gets to speak over someone else based on rank. If two people of the same rank are talking, whoever was talking first would get priority. Sounds great? Sounds great.

That's when someone holds down their mic.

Also it'll become a giant game of "Who's holding the talking stick?"
Once you get to know me, you'll find you'll have never met me at all.

Not only would this be extremely prone to abuse, but it's outside the scope of ULib or ULX. If you want this, you could figure out how to code it yourself or get someone to code it for you (best way to do that is to make a ScriptFodder Job, but that requires $$$).
Give a man some code and you help him for a day; teach a man to code and you help him for a lifetime.
