Anyways, turns out the machine they have me on doesn't like the network cards they have so I have to wait until Monday when they can get a compatible one. 9 AM PST for those of you who for some reason need to know. ;)

 "Oh CRAP! JEFF!!? You told this guy we'd hook him up to gigabit FOR FREE!?!??!?!?!!? We're running him on an old P4 server with two integrated 10/100 NICs and one PCI slot. Jeff, oh Jeff. How many times have we had to tell you...we don't have enterprise capable gigabit NICs for our servers on PCI! NOW we have to find a PCI-x capable motherboard to put him on and swap processors. Jeff...guess what YOU get to do this holiday weekend. I don't care if your family is in town..you did it. And, since he's getting a better motherboard AND connection...you're not getting any extra money for this. Be glad you're not hourly"
