1. A way to grab a past players IP so you can IP ban them. Or a way to grab a players IP from their Steam ID.
2. A way to force a player onto another team (including spectator as a team)
3. AFK auto spectate with a pop up telling them to click f2 to switch teams
4. A way to make text popup (custom text) on one players screen till they close the pop up
Number 2 does not tie in with number 3 in any major way.
This is not only for me. I think these features would be really good in any prop hunt or other server

If my memory serves me correctly, (a) member(s) of Team Ulysses (the developers of ULib and ULX) have made their position clear on this: they don't want to add this functionality due to its potential for abuse and its general uselessness. I'll see if I can find the post, but if not then hopefully one of the team members can come along and explain their stance more in-depth.

These are all very specific requests that would only benefit a small percentage of users. While they may be useful, I think they are beyond the scope of an admin mod.
Of course this is all just my opinion, and has no bearing on whether or not these features will be added. That decision is, obviously, up to the sole discretion of the Ulysses Team.

I'll address each of these suggestions in the order you posted them.
1. We don't want to provide IP information of players to other players. If you (the owner) need it, it should be in the server logs.
2. Team related things are gamemode specific. ULX remains gamemode neutral. You or someone could make this into a module if you like.

4. At its core, ULX is non-invasive. We already have messages you can use with the advert system, but things like this are a bit invasive. Again, you or someone could make this into a module if you like, but it likely won't be added as a stock ULX feature.

#4 already has releases like that in our Releases section. Someone basically took several additional motd type screen code discussions and turned them into customizable commands.

I assume you'd be talking about mine?
Team Ulysses doesn't want that information to be readily available, however FreeGeoIP isn't made by Team Ulysses. It's more of a server testing tool than a malicious use tool. If handled properly, players' information shouldn't be easily linked.

We're not including it as a default option. Of course people can mod it in themselves (which is what you found)

This forum is for requesting features be implemented into ULX/ULib.
If you are asking for someone to make or help you make addons, you should be using the Off Topic or Dev Corner forums.
