Title: Facepunch Archive Search?
Post by: Timmy on July 06, 2019, 03:31:32 PM
I am using ElasticSearch to create a search engine for finding archived Facepunch posts. I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in querying the database? If other members care about this, I will see if I can make this available to a small audience.

Timmy, unsure 'exactly' why other than what's in the report posted below (spyware), but, the image site you're using is on MalwareBytes Premium bad web reputation list. I was unable to view the image.
I do find the port odd. I'm unsure if that's MY port, or the one it tried connecting to server side. Not a standard https port, but within realm of randomness if local.
(Fact it says outbound makes me think remote?)

As for an archive search, I love the idea.
I tried google searching to assist someone here just this week, found a search result that I'm 90% sure would have helped, if only it didn't like to the (now defunct) forum.
(Unfortunately, there was no 'cached' link for it using google either)

Sorry, I didn't realize Cubeupload had such a bad reputation. I will host the preview on my GitHub Pages instead.

That is really cool. Some very useful things on that site. I'd be interested in something like that.
