Those are mine, IPB > SMF
IPB = $100 or so
SMF = free
Therefore IPB = Better

If i was running a major server for a major company it'd be linux, but for home user functionality Windows is the king.

Windows=easier to use
Linux=More secure and you can leave a server up on linux for years and it would be unlikely to crash unless it had a powercut. ;)
