are there any good Team Death Match gamemodes for Garrysmod? I was thinking it'd be a fun thing to do

Have you tried Fight to Survive: Stronghold? It's pretty good. I think RoaringCow finally made it opensource. Not sure though.

Check Workshop. He did release it, but still sells it reduced as a 'shareware' model.
