Im wondering how to create a !motd like message, but accessed with a different command (in this case !wca) to show a html page.
Is it possible to modify the Ulx !motd to do this? is there something already made out there for this?
Please help

Just look how the motd is handled by scripts, then copy/paste, change what you need, "done". Note that motd is a .txt not a .htm, i've read somewhere that it's because of hl2 itself or something like that.
I don't think you can display a direct webpage, but i've never tried so i don't really know. Once in the motd i did put a link to a website, and when clicking it from inside the game, game freeze and crash after a moment - however direct download links work fine.

From what I can see, the ulx motd is integrated with ulx pretty deeply, and I was hoping for a addon type screen, so it can be easily accessed
Jammin, i saw your motd solution, but the download doesn't work for me

Suicide Bomber... This is no guarantee...but I've been considering releasing a "Umotd 2" that uses our new (and Garry's new) lua html integration.
I was gonna try to explain how to convert my old Umotd, then I realised I'd be writing a book and could have made a new one in the time it started to take me.
Its not that difficult, just lots of steps.
I'll start looking into Umotd 2 now.
[edit] Haha. Just saw you sent a PM to me. It's possible to download the file...but IT WON'T WORK without lots of modification.

Ok, well thanks for the info. I can't believe someone hasn't made one public yet, it would be very useful for !rules or !admins or any command like that
