I'll be a freshman this fall, going for four years to get a degree in Computer Engineering. Yay! :)

I think you'll enjoy it. I almost did CS and my roommate is a CS major.
but yeah... college is a blast! =)

I'm a junior in mechanical engineering. My workload this semester is probably going to rape me... Eek! There goes my social and Gmod life. ;)

CS and CE are not the same thing. http://www.eng.buffalo.edu/compscie_vs_compeng.php (http://www.eng.buffalo.edu/compscie_vs_compeng.php)
I am also going into Freshman year CE :)

I think that's great for you guys! I am very jealous! ;D

lol.. I think you just wanted to post that link =) I know the difference, but CS is a lot closer to CE than MusED which is what I am doing =-)

Heh, I would've done CSE if I hadn't done CE, and it took me ~6 months to make up my mind which I wanted. I finally settled on CE because I took some engineering classes in high school and loved them, and also because CE will give me more job opportunities than CSE. Since it's an engineering degree, I could be anything from a physicist to electrical engineer, and since it's with a computer concentration I get pretty much all the CSE jobs available too. Also, looking at the class list, CE looked more fun :D. Only one class was missing from CE that was in CSE that I think I'll want to take... linear algebra. (Yes, I like taking math, get over it :P)
