Title: admin problem

hey everybody,

I have a big problem.
i have a gmod server (not dedicated, list) and when someone joins that person is admin.
Everbody who joins is admin.
How can i change that?
i only wanna have one admin, and that is me.
So, please help!!! :'(

i have the same problem and it really is annoying because today a guy saw he was admin and banned someone for fun  >:(

i started lan but then i typed sv_lan 0 so then it comes up in the internet list does anybody know how to fix this problem

Edit gmod/cfg/server.cfg .. if it doesn't have sv_lan, then add it and make sure it says sv_lan 0

i see sv_lan 0 but i want to fix the problem that i only can be admin because every guy who joins is admin ???

This is 99% most likely a problem on your side.

1) Are you running a hacked copy of Steam/HL2/Gmod? If so, this can cause all to have admin. No way to fix this (at least, no way we support)
(NOT saying you are... just a possibility)

2) Some gamemodes/addons break the admin checks of ULX/ULib. We've recently discovered problems with DarkRP.
If not the mod itself, then perhaps the way you have configured it. (even ULib itself perhaps)

2) Make sure you've followed EVERY instruction of our sticky titled "Having trouble with access?" in the Help and support forum here.
We know if you haven't, it has a lie detector test in it.
No, seriously. If you don't follow every instruction, we know.
