Title: Code "personality"?
Post by: Megiddo on January 09, 2008, 08:01:52 AM
One of my CS professors today was talking about how you can tell a person's personality by their code. I never thought about this, but I think it might be true. IMO, creating and releasing code is a little like creating a child; you do your very best to raise it and teach it how to do well, putting a lot of time and effort in to see it through, then you release it into the world and hope that it's able to take care of itself.  ;D

You can usually tell how open to modification users are by their comments in the file too.

If there are a lot of comments stating what does what then they would usually allow modification.

Edit : Dammit, Bumped :(

Oh well, It only got bumped 3 places.
