Title: Is there a ulx/ulib SVN? (auto update -Tortoise SVN-)
Post by: ulx/ulib SVN on January 28, 2008, 07:04:33 PM
Hiya, I was wondering if you guys have a SVN network for ULX and ULIB. That would be sweet if you did. If you don’t have SVN Network for ulx/ulib (Tortoise SVN), could you please set one up. It would make the mod even greater and it would be easier for people to get the mod and keep it updated.

Thanks for your time.
Sincerely, The Unknown (Facepunch Studios)

How can people miss an entire forum dedicated to SVN?

I'd help, but I'm not sure they'd be able to find the answer (http://forums.ulyssesmod.net/index.php?action=collapse;c=4;sa=expand#4) to this frequently asked question. (http://forums.ulyssesmod.net/index.php/board,30.0.html)
Oh, from Facepunch, yeah, most people from there post before looking (http://forums.ulyssesmod.net/index.php?action=search;advanced) and expect answers spoon fed to them. (http://forums.ulyssesmod.net/index.php/board,30.0.html)

This post is wrong on so many levels, I wish I could easily ban you from being able to use SVN.

You made 10 mistakes:
1. Assuming SVN is an "auto update" platform. This is so wrong, anyone who thinks of it as such should be smited.
2. Posting in suggestions; how is this even remotely a suggestion? If you thought we weren't using SVN and trying to suggest we would, why would we listen to someone who doesn't even know what SVN is?
3. Emailing me. CHOOSE ONE METHOD AND STICK WITH IT. DON'T ANNOY US TO DEATH.
4. Not looking in FAQs
5. Not seeing the "SVN" board
6. Not searching
7. Not looking at the news
8. Not reading any of the stickies
9. Not bothering to read any of the other threads at all
10. Wasting our time

And don't forget the part about making the account name "ulx/ulib SVN", what a joke..

You are wrong, we have quiet enough of these threads, what we don't have enough of is

Censor by Megiddo: Sorry Banyon, think of the children!

Oh come on Meg, not like there was anything worth censoring in that... I've seen more cleavage at junior high school dances.

That's why I always take my big red censor stamp to dances. :D

Yes, some of us old folks have quite an imagination.
Have to at this age, keeps the marriage alive. *evil grin*
