Title: addAdvert text delay question

Hi. I want to know if there's a way you can add a delay to an addAdvert.
Say when someone joins your server, they see a message pop up about 5 seconds after joining. I want that message to be delayed awhile before being said again.
How do I do it?

Something like this maybe?;
addAdvert "message" <start display time> <delay to next display time>
