Is there anyway to communicate to my server via winsock eg display console in my C app

Yes. There's a similar project on our board already (don't think it was released though). It was done by WildWill if I remember correctly.

Found it for you, it's Mr.President, and I don't think it will be released any time soon, since he's in the military now.
