Title: !menu and !motd

Hey I'm having trouble with ULX. Everything is fine except for the fact that I can not use !menu or !motd. Help?

There is a bug with the one on the site. Get the svn version, that fixed it for me.

I'm going to start banning for a week or three any user, new or old, that asks about the menu issue and doesn't say what version of ULX they're using. If it's SVN, I'll be more likely to forgive.

The forum "help and support" first page is full of the same error mentioning 'menu'.
There's no excuse, even if someone didn't do a search.

I have the same problem, reinstalled completely from the svn today. And I cant use !menu or !adminmenu. Things like !tp still work though. I get an error like this when I try


Warning: Unhandled usermessage 'ULibLuaFn'

And occasionally

Warning: Unhandled usermessage 'ulib_sound'

Edit: On of my clients on the server says that his !menu works but only contains the motd option, I dont know if this is as it should be. I reinstalled ULX and Ulib client side today also.

Same thing. I updated ULX and ULib last night right after I read the response to this topic and it still wont work.

Same exact problem. Also when i type !clientmenu there is no buttons for actions such as ban, ignite ect. Also using svn version.

Right I have discovered that the problem is client side, as I promoted another member to admin and his !adminmenu works.

Any ideas what could be causing this problem?

Right well I worked it out.

There was an issue with sv_downloadurl.

I disabled it and all the usermessage problems went away. It broke anything that used usermessages (even killed the stargate dial menu).

So everything is working as it should, except UPS which is not deleting players props after they leave.
