Hi, somehow this guy has managed to make him self an admin(old friend intill he raged) and not leaving a trace of where his admins list is :/
is there a console command if i have his steam id?
Or i could just be a retard and not have a clue where to look, pls help ???

because we got told when he raged he added aload of superadmins so everyone can spam balls.

Hi i went there, and im listed there with all my admins that should be there he isnt.
But somehow where not even admin anymore??
Is it not exec the config for it or something? :S

While you're connected to your server, from server console, run "ulx debuginfo"
It will make a file and tell you where it is. Post it here (attach or in code brackets)
Provide us the steam id you wish to remove so we can look for it within the data the debug provides.
Not the name of the palyer, must be actual steam id.
Also, change your rcon password, and make sure if you're running a web server, you've not shared your /cfg folder to the world.
He (and others) may be reading your rcon password.

Something is wrong with your gmod/data/ULib/*.* files, or ULib's ability to read them has broken (due to a Gmod update?)
The debug shows our users and groups areas ULib.ucl.* empty/blank.
Doesn't mean they necessarily are, but ULib isn't reading them.
Those areas in the debug would normally have whats in your gmod/data/ULib/groups.txt and users.txt.
Seems you posted your users.txt, where from?...make sure you're not editing the addons folder files.
Any errors at server startup regarding ULib in server console?

I could reinstall ULX but im unsure of how i would save my config of all the props that are blocked etc?

However, it's possible you're former 'friend' has placed other files elsewhere that gives him admin access.

i did a search for it on windows, the only place it picked up his ID is in banslist and logs.

Hi, i restored old files from the last server before we bough the dedi.
It seems admins have been removed and somehow that stop it from working maybe he messed up on removing them im unsure.

ULX 3.4 had known issue (latest release version you're using) where certain characters in names could break users or temp ban file. I'm betting that might be part of the problem. We've fixed it in SVN, but it's not due for release quite yet.

Watch out for adding users with two slashes // in thier names. Have them change the name temporarily.

It only breaks if you add players (or ban) with // in thier names.
Just add them manually through your gmod/settings/users.txt. Just like our ulx_readme.txt points to a link explaining how to do.
No known release date for the next release. When it's done, it will be released.
Also, please don't PM me. 3 PM's to me isn't necessary.
I and any other team member that can help you would be able to answer here.
I don't know why it's not working for you.
It's not broken for most people. I've no idea what access your former friend had, or what he might have broken.
Your PM to me about 'having to choose another admin mod' really doesn't bother me.
In this post alone I know we've gone far beyond what most other admin mods support.
If something broke because of your friend and you trying to remove him, that's not Team Ulysses responsibility.
