Title: MySQL Integration
Post by: ACProdigy on January 03, 2010, 07:41:53 AM
Hello all.

I have just finished a few MySQL integrations with a few popular addons out there that make use of sv.db, for the purposes of central administration and server linking. I'd like to offer MySQL integration for anybody that either doesn't have the time or know-how, and wishes to make use of a MySQL-enabled addon.

Not sure if anybody is still interested in this sort of thing, but if you are, feel free to give me a holler!

Why not make MySQL integration for UCL (the access control list for ULib)? It's well documented and should be fairly straight-forward to implement.

It is well documented, but not always well known that it's well documented.
Going to www.ulyssesmod.net and clicking the 'Docs' link at the top of the page loads the Ulysses Library documentation.
Directly, http://www.ulyssesmod.net/docs will get you there.

Just gave UCL a quick once-over, and its quite enticing.

I'll look at it more in-depth when I get home. Looks like fun.

EDIT: I've looked at the UCL code much more closely, and it doesn't look like too much of a hassle, really.
