Split this from another topic since it's another problem than the original thread entirely.

Do you have ULX installed, and are there errors on startup? Is this SVN?

Same problem as DiscoBiscuit, ULX and UPS goes down for no reason.

Same end result, different symptoms... which from the code side means that the problems are not related.

Vader, your getting feedback from Gmod that "ulx" is an unknown command.
Discobiscuit, on the other hand, does not. He types in "ulx <something>", and gets dead air.


Though they do seem 'same', they are only similiar at this point that they occur, according to you, after time has passed.

How are you using an ulx command when ulx is broken?

Your users.txt seems to be corrupt, or ULib's reading of it.
ULX 3.4 has known issues with working with players with slashes "\\" in thier names.
If you open your users.txt file and find any \\\\\\ in it... you'd need to delete that entire record, or replace that field with a proper non-slashed name.

Ah, probably happened because I have an escaped name.  >:(
